Minimum F SKU needed for PowerBI VNet Data Gateway (or cheapest options available)

Hi there,

Is there a minimum F SKU requirement for using a PowerBI paginated report within a workspace with an Azure SQL Database datasource which exists within a Private VNet? It will go through a VNet Data Gateway to a Private Endpoint within the vnet.

(Possibly) relevent information:

* Report creators and consumers each have a Pro Per User license

* Reports use the Azure SQL Database as a datasource, and each have an associated Stored Procedure for their dataset

Hi @Miro123 ,

F SKU refers to the capacity in the Microsoft Fabric.

The documentation does not explicitly mention a specific minimum F SKU requirement for using PowerBI Paging Reports in conjunction with VNet Data Gateway, and it is recommended that you start with an F SKU that meets your expected usage and performance needs.

SKU selection should be based on your specific requirements, such as the number of users, the type of connection (DirectQuery or import), and the performance needs of the report.

For development testing, a free embedded trial token with a Pro license can be used, but for production environments, capacity must be purchased.

Note also that only P SKUs and F SKUs larger than F64 allow free Power BI users to use Power BI applications and share content within the Power BI service, while smaller F SKUs require a Pro license to use Power BI content.
