Limiting Scheduled Refresh Errors

Dear all,

I am experiencing an issue in which every time there is a schedule refresh and an error occurs in a specific table, the whole dataset refresh fails, even tables/columns which are not affected by the error.

Is there a way to limit refresh failues to be contained within the table/measures affected rather than failing the whole dataset refresh?

For example, the error is "ColumnX does not exist" - so the error should be affecting all measures & calculated columns/references that use this column (and the visuals will simply show an error), and not affect the whole dataset.

Thanks.

Hi there

The way the refresh currently happens is that it refreshes all the data.

Due to this when there is an error the entire refresh will fail even if there is one error.

As far as I know the one way you could modify this is in the Power Query editor, where you could ignore errors.

If it is based on columns you would have to create some complex Power Query to get it to ignore the error.

I would suggest ensuring that the source data remains as expected.
