How to sync data based on selected slicer between Report and Dashboard

Hi... I've been trying to get an answer to fix my issue about syncing data based on selected slicer between Report and Dashboard.

Look at image below..

At first, I've selected month slicer from January to July

so the dashboard become this..

then I add month selection into September..

but Dashboard didn't show what I've been selected above after saved the report..

Hey @hanafichi,

Thanks for stopping by. I think I understand what you are asking.  If you are using the "Pin Live Page" feature, then the dashboard should update.

The following is true if you pinned the VISUAL to the dashboard.

When you first pin the visual to the dashboard, it saves the filters applied to that visual. So, when you change the filters on the report and save, it will not change the pinned dashboard visual.

The only way to change the pinned visual is to:

     1. Repin the visual with the new filters

     2. Add the slicers (filters) to the dashboard and filter on the dashboard.

Hope this helps,

Alan
