How to create alerts in the new user experience (Fabric trial)

Hello,

since we have fabric trial running dashboard editing is very different.

I cannot find a tile where I get the option to manage alters, also all other ways that are described are not available anymore.

Hi, among other details remember that

• Alerts aren't supported for card tiles with date or time measures.
• Alerts only work with numeric data types

So if you are trying to create an alert on a chart, you can't

but I use a card tile with a count of unique values.

Now the menu in dashboard on card tiles looks like:

Also keep in mind that Alerts only work on data that is refreshed.

They do not work on static data.

I refresh the report every day, and was hoping that it might be a temporary thing of fabric since it is in public preview, but still no change. No menu offers me the alert.

What do you mean with "I refresh report every day", manually publish report with "fresh data" or Dataset Refresh Now in the portal?

Hi, i have administrated an automatic daily refresh of the dataset.

Keep in mind that if you have implemented RLS, be sure that users are assigned to correct group.
