Hidden Filters Visible in Focus Mode

Hi,

When pinning visuals to a dashboard, if the user enters focus mode on the visual, they can see the hidden filters. Is this by design or is this a bug? Its frustrating as we want to share the dashboard with someone but dont want to give them access to edit the views they see

Hi @Anonymous ,

This should be by design.

To open a report visual in focus mode, hover over the visual and select the focus mode icon. The visual opens and fills the entire canvas. Notice that you still have a Filters pane that you can use to interact with the visual. The Filters pane can be collapsed. Explore further by modifying the filters and looking for interesting discoveries in your data. As a business user, you can't add new filters, change the fields being used in the visuals, or create new visuals. However, you can interact with the existing filters.

If the focus mode is not very useful, you can turn it off.

Thanks. This is a shame as it removes the ability for the developer to restrict or show the filters they wish the user to see
