Failed to update data source credentials Azure Auditing

Cannot add Azure Audit Logs app for Power BI. Tried several accounts as Global Admin and different browsers. Error:

I see old threads with this same issue, but found no solution. Have successfully installed and received data for O365 adoption app and Azure Sign In Logs app.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Hi @Anonymous,

Please ensure current account still has access to Audit Logs in the Azure portal. And try deleting all instances of the Azure Audit logs content pack and reconnecting.

Hi and thank you for your reply!

No Azure Audit Logs app gets added, so it's nothing to remove. Only the other, working apps could be removed.

I tried again this morning. Verified that the account could browse Azure AD Audit logs and other views in Azure Monitor. Same issue unfortunately.

Also checked internal firewall or similar, all traffic OK.

Any other suggestions? I am on PowerBI free, so I cannot open a ticket afaik.

Thanks.
