Hi all,
I am building a report that will refresh every day with data from the previous day. The visuals only display data from a certain day, so first of all the user havo to select a date (from a date slicer).
Noow, I am familiar with the standard date slicer (I usually use dropdown styles). What I am looking for is very simple button. And if a user pushes this button the date in the date slicer increases with one day. Obviously if this is possible, than it would be easy to do the same on the other direction (get the previous day).
The reason why this button is necessary, because if I have two years worht of dates in a dropdown slicer, than it is not very user friendly to always find the necessary date (eg. 1 year ago), choose it, than choose the day before (1 year and a day ago)... It is super annoying.
For the life of me I cannot find a solution to this... And I refuse to believe that nobody ever tried to create a slicer/button like this. It is super easy to implement in Excel, and I thought that Power BI supposed to be at least as advanced as Excel 🙂
If you have any idea for this problem please share!
Hi @Astorre72 ,
See if this slicer can meet your needs.
Or you can try bookmarks and buttons.

Create a new one page report that includes data for the year and the previous day. Use this page as a bookmark and bind the bookmark to the button

Liang
