I have two Excel files in the same OneDrive folder, and each has a report linked to it. One refreshes the data, one gives an error. If I look in the dataset options, the one that works on shows:
Parameters
OneDrive Refesh
Q&A
Features Q&A Questions
Endorsement
The one that fails shows:
Gateway Connection
Data Source Credentials (greyed out)
Parameters
Schedule Refresh (all sub-options greyed out)
Q&A
Features Q&A Questions
Endorsement
The error I get when trying to refresh the one with the second set of options gives me the error:
Refresh failed due to gateway configuration issues.
This dataset requires a properly configured gateway in order to refresh.
If you're using personal mode, please make sure your gateway is online.
If you're using enterprise mode, please make sure you've added the following data sources in the Gateway Management Portal Given that both source files are in the same place, and the reports created the same, I am a little confused. As I'm very new to Power BI and assistance would be appreciated.
