Hi everyone,
I'll try to make this simple, I have a dashboard which had a specific name (let's say "X") and shared with many people.
Last week I had to change this dashboards name to "Y".
I changed the name from X to Y in the service and on the desktop file but now eveytime I publish it keeps creating a new dashboard called Y (although I already renamed the old one) and it's only shared with me.
I'd like the old one (renamed) to update so I don't need to reshare the dashboard with everyone.
Am I missing something here ?
Thanks !

hi, @NB3
Based on my test, You just need to change the dataset (renamed) name too before republish.
Just follow this way:
1. changed the name from X to Y in the service and on the desktop file
2. change the name for the dataset from X to Y in the service too.
Now when you republish the report, it will work well.
Best Regards,
Lin
I had the same problem and discovered I had leading whitespace in front of my new report name.
So instead of 'Y' I had ' Y.'
Removing the white space in the desktop file name (pbix) solved my problem.
