Can't display the visual Error when using Clusters

Hi community!

I'm facing the following error when trying to use a Cluster that I've generated in PBI Desktop using the "automatically find clusters" functionality:

iperezlemme_0-1627515776600.png

Trying to create a visual in Power BI Desktop (July 2021 version) using that same cluster, everything works fine.

My dataset is an Hybrid one, though the cluster I've created, is based only on an Import mode entity. I've tried deleting all the other tables, making it an Import model, but the error persisted.

Hope someone can help!

Hi @v-eqin-msft !

Thanks for your reply.

I've already seen the mentioned post before writing mine, because I think these are separate issues. In Power BI Desktop the processing finishes just fine.

The column which is mentioned in the error, is a Power BI generated Cluster.

Any other ideas?

Best Regards,

Ignacio Perez Lemme

Hi @iperezlemme ,

This error may be caused if the column type of [Error Column] couldn't be understood by your web system. Please check.

And as you mentioned, everything works fine on you Power BI Desktop. I doubt the tables were not updating with report update.

So please first manually refresh in Power BI Desktop to find the error item.
