Administrator Takeover of App Workspace

The exising administrator of an app workspace has left the company.  He was the only admin.  How can we takeover this app workspace?  Also, is it possible to add an O365 group as an admin to an app workspace?

Currently you cannot use O365 groups into the App Workspace. It might be possible with an O365 Security Group that has an email address associated.

I do know that the Power BI team is working on providing the capabilities to use O365 Groups, Security Groups as well as AD Security Groups in the future.

In the meantime, do you know of a way to takeover administrative control of an app workspace that only had one member.  Our issue is that this person left the company.  We were able to gain access to it via reseting his AD password, logging in as him, and adding additional admins.  

It seems like the Power BI Admin role should be able to achive this, but I was unable to find/modify any app workspace I wasn't explicityly given access to.

Currently as far as I'm aware there is no other way to take it over. I also think that they have implemented it in this manner to ensure it is secure and an administrator cannot overwrite anything.

What I have suggested to other organisations is to always add in an admin account as part of the process when setting up any App Workspaces
