Report Auto Refresh

Hi,

Ive seen a bit on this, but mostly around dataset refrsh, not report.

So, ive loaded a report to the on-prem server, and configured a data refresh....working OK.

However, when i connect to the actual report, even tho the underlying data is refreshed, the report itself does not.

How do i go about having the actual report refreshed with the updated data.....as i have th report open on my browser all day?

Thanks

Jeff

Hi.

If you press "Refresh" button in browser, it will not refresh data in report.

To refresh report, you can open Report Manager, click on "..." button of relevant report, then Manage -> Scheduled refresh ->Create scheduled refresh plan. When plan is created, it will appear as a list of refresh plans for report, you can select it by clicking checkbox on the left and then "Refresh Now" button will be enabled in the toolbar.

Not very simple and straightforward, I'd say.
