We have had the Dremio ODBC driver running and working on Power BI On-Premises data gateway server for over 1 year. But when we upgraded to Power Bi data gateway Oct 2020 release, it 'broke' Dremio. The Dremio add in will not be recognized by data gateway unless an admin user is logged into the data gateway. It refuses to stay 'active' when a user is not acive in data gateway. How do we resolve this?
We have tried running dremio-connector-odbc1.4.2.1003_1-win64, and dremio-connector-odbc-1.5.1.1000-win64. Neither release seem to help the issue with it not staying lonine and active in the Azure PBi gateway.
A user has to stay logged into the server for the Dremio data connector to remain ‘active’. If the user logs off the gateway retains the data connection path, but it drops the dremio connection add in and no longer recognizes it. Tests show that once it is no longer showing ‘active’ the Power Bi reports don’t connect

I know one of the options is to post on the community section but this will require additional resources.
Hi,
This requires more environment specific investigation and the best course of action would be to follow up with customer support team.
