Hello
I have a column that is a number apart from the diverders which are minus signs.
The column is cost centre.
It's range is;
00-00-000
to
99-99-999
I want the user of the Power BI report to be able to slide to select a range of cost centres, I can only do this if the column is a number, but it won't let me keep the minus signs in the field.
How do I have a slider slicer for this number format?
Regards
Graham

Hello - I have formatted the values in Power Query as whole numbers and loaded to the data model. Then in the data model, assigned a custom whole number format of 00-00-000. In the snip, you can see that the slider visual works and the dashed-format has been retained.
