Hi everybody,
I encountered an issue in PowerQuery to which I cannot think of a proper solution.
I merged two tables. The goal is to enrich employee data with additional information regarding the teams they work in.
1. From this table I transformed my data as desired. This table is to be used for the merge in the next step. In this example I filtered out 1 employee. The column ´Formatieplaats´ is the column that I want to merge in the next step. the value 'TPMMDW-RO09' in the column "formatieplaats" is important.
2. Here you can see I merged the table from the previous step to another table. When I click on the tablecontent in the column `Feit_Bezetting' you see the same value for "Formatieplaats" as in the previous table, TPMMDW-RO09 (as it should be)
3. Now as I expand this table it presents me with a different value than shown in the preview as you see in the previous step. Now it shows me CNBMDW-RO09. This value initially existed in the table shown in step 1, but in my data transformation I purposfully filtered this row out. So after a correct data transformation and a correct table preview, Power Query gives me a value that should not exist anymore.
Does anyone have a clue how I can fix this? So far I tried to delete and renew the step in which I merged the tables, i refreshed the data set various times, I restared the PBIX file and my PC a few times, and i tried to replicate this step by creating a new table, but nothing seems to work.
Your help will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!!
