Hello - I am relatively new to power query. I am working with mutliple JSON files with multipel records and lists. I have successfully expanded all data in one JSON file using a function posted by TheBIAccountant (2018/06/17); however, when I update source to Folder.Files, etc. and try to use the same function (files are all structured the same way), I keep getting the expression error: We cannot convert a value of type Table to type List. Value=[table] type=[type]. Any idea what I've done wrong or if I need to add in extra steps? I can't find any tips that have worked online.
Does your column you are applying the function to say Binary or Table? My guess is you are sending different inputs to the function (single file vs. folder of files).
Pat
Thanks Pat. I'll try this now
Thank you for replying. The file structures are identical. I tried duplicating the file just to be sure and it returned the same error.
Hi, it means, you have the different structure at least in one of your JSON files.
