Enterprise Gateway configuration

Hi Guys,

I'm Trying to publish new cube to powerbi using enterprise gtw.

I already have a cube pblished using the Egtw but the new dataset is not published. Im receiving the following:

- "the data source cannot be accessed by a data gateway".

In the "Manage Gateways" everything looks ok - green.

I found some logs from the Egtw:

- " Failed to parse gateway core config file: Object reference not set to an instance of an object."

Any suggestions ?

Thanks!

Hi!

I just had exactly the same problem as you are describing. I think there are multiple possible error sources for it, what did the trick for me was to delete a bi-directional cross filtering I had established in my model. To do so, go to the relations tab on the left side and check all of the relations between the tables and see if you got any cross filtering activated.

I was connected via Directquery to a SQL Database also using the enterprise gateway.

Hope this resolves it!

Hi,
