Dates in Month and Year Format in Power BI

Dear Users,

I am new to Power BI. I have a date in a DD/MM/YYYY format and I want to create another column based on this column with just Month and year in Power BI, so the format of the new column is MMM-YY.

Hello, please try this solution below.  Replace #"Added Custom" with your prior step and [Column1] with the column containing your date.

Table.AddColumn(#"Added Custom", "MMM-YY", each Date.ToText ( [Column1], "MMM-yy" ))
