I am trying to load data from one of the share point with both columns populated manually/calculated to PowerBI. The connection was successful. But few columns in share point that has value populated via a calculation did not get load accurately. The value was stored as zero. For example.: Total executed test cases : High value executed + low value executed is calculated and available as a column in the share point. After successful data load the field Total executed test cases via PowerBI displayed zero. I can possibly resolve this by creating Calculated column and apply the formula that was applied in share point. But, Is there any option that should have been chosen before the data load and avoid the New calculated column generation ?

Based on my test in Power BI desktop version 2.42.4611.901, I'm able to get calculated column in a SharePoint online list.
I created the calculated column in the SharePoint online list like below:
When I get data in Power BI desktop use SharePoint online list data source, calculated column will display correct values instead of 0. See:
In your scenario, please check which desktop version did you run. If possible, please share more detail steps for us to reproduce the issue.
