Conditional Index

I need to add a Index Column with a condition.

If the value of the column [SheetRetryFlag] is "false", count one by one (increment one) normally.

If the value is "true", repeat the value from the previous row. So it returns something like this:

Can I do it with M? Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

First Add an index to column (to maintain the order).

Then duplicate the table.

On one version keep the True values. on the other keep the False values.

Add an Index column called NewIndex to the False table.

Add a custom column called NewIndex to the True table (make it = null).

Append the tables together.

Sort by the original index column.

Do a Fill Down on the NewIndex column.

Let me know how you get on.

It worked, thank you very much!
