what situation we select Anonymous ?

When i select Anonymous , Do it mean that the share point folder FT_SUPPLIER have irosoft PW , it will still allow me access ?

Anonymous is most often used to connect to public sources like web pages that don't require any authentication.

If you have sensitive data, then you shouldn't ever be able to connect to it using "Anonymous" since that would mean anyone else could connect to it too.

Hi @admin11 ,

The Annoynmous option simply means it doesn't require a password to access the information. So the Annoynmous credentials for the Sharepoint connector could be used if the Sharepoint site is set to allow annoymous access. If this is not enabled then it would not work.

thank for sharing. Does it mean that if I have sensitive info , I cannot set sharepoint to allow annoymous access right ?

If you don't have to use anoynmous and you have security setup on the Sharepoint site then you should use the other credentials.
