I am able to login to online power bi service account.
However, when I am trying to sign to power bi service using power bi desktop application it is showing following message

Have you solved your problem yet? If not, you can try to rollback the desktop to a historical version to see if the problem still exists.

Login Power BI service in your default browser
Open Power BI Desktop new file
Dont try to login
Go to Option and Setting
Turn on the below option and Save the setting
Close the PBID file and relaunch
Then login and you will find now PBID taking credentials from your Default browser

Are you logged in to Power BI Service in the default browser?
Can you please clear the catch from the Power BI desktop and try

Yes, I checked it. The default browser was set to Microsoft Edge. So I changed it to Chrome and i am logged into power Bi service account in Chrome already.
Again tried to login but it didn't. The message remains same.
I have restarted the PC. Will do and confirm
