power BI "Apply query changes" takes forever

Hi I am calling a procedure from Powe BI which returns about 660k rows.

I see that "apply query chnages" takes forever to load the changes.

If I select only required columns say- instead of retrieving all the 20 columns the procedure returns(These procedures have been written for someother purpose) , If I alter the procedure to

return only 5-6 required columns(thus reducing the size of the data).

Will this help to load "apply query chnages" faster?
