new visuals in pbi desktop

I imported several visuals, amongst others the new timeline slicer. Next time I open the pbi desktop application and the visuals are gone.Don't they stick after I import them?

@schmikli The visuals are tied to the specific PBIX file. They will still be on your local machine, but you will need to apply them to each report you create.

Said another way. Imported visuals are report specific, not application specific.

Its fantastic to see MS developing the custom visuals and commiting to a very regular release of new ones, however at the moment I would prefer to see them re-focus on getting the integration mechanism right and also look at improving the functionality within the current offerings.

I have found that many of the current visuals look great at first but lack functionality or fine detail control when you come to use them in anger. I know in theory I could get my hands dirty with Visual Studio but in reality I just don't have the time.

@schmikli There should be a warning at the top of the page asking you to enable custom visuals. Once enabled they should show up on your report.
