how to remove slicer from bookmark

Hi all,

I'm struggling with slicers combined with bookmarks.

I have a dashboard with two slicers: Month and Division.

Because I need to hide or replace some of the visuals depending on selected division, I use bookmarks to manage the Division slicer.

The problem is that the bookmark "records" the settings of the Month slicer along with the Division slicer.

And that's what I don't want to.

I'v tried to use Data, Display, Selected visuals checkers in bookmark settings but this isn't working for me.

Is there any way to remove the specific slicer from a bookmark? Or to specify somehow which slicer will be affected by a bookmark and which will not?

Example

  1. I choose December in a Month slicer and division London in bookmarked button connected to Division slicer
  2. I switch the month to October and change the division to Paris - so far all correct
  3. Once I change to Paris, the month changes back to December - as recorded in a bookmark

But I need the month to stay October

Thanks a lot

V.

Using Bookmarks to achieve such functionality is the right approach but make sure you select the visuals in the selection pane that need to be included in the bookmark before creating one.
