how to parameterize a date segment(slicer?) to be of type "between" & proposing only certain dates ?

Hello,
In this attached link I have a version 1 with a date segment(slicer?) of type "Between". It is this visual that I would like but the problem is that I don't know how to limit the possible dates to be only the ones that are part of my dataset.
I've managed to find a workaround with my option 2 but this forces me to create 2 additional queries and to have 2 segments(slicers?) on the report.
My question is how can I keep the option 1 but, when I move the date cursor, it should propose only the dates existing in my dataset ? I want to keep the "Between" style.
Thanks for your help.

@jmclej3 uunfortunately that is not possible when you are using between slicers.

@jmclej3 you can create a measure and show on the card visual:

Message =
VAR __FirstDate = SELECTEDVALUE ( Table[Date1] )
VAR __SecondDate = SELECTEDVALUE ( Table[Date2] )
RETURN
IF ( __FirstDate > __SecondDate, "Invalid date selection" )

OK, thanks ! In my version 2, is it possible to enforce that when we select each slicer we must have Date_Fermeture > Date_Ouverture (otherwise we get an error of some sort (message ? popup? etc...) ?
