I have a date and time in my data source  (Excel) and I need in Power bi keep that column and create another column with only the time of that same column....anybody knows how I can do that?

Example the result needed,

03-03-2016 11:30:0011:30:00

Hi Christian, its very easy....you have to go to query editor then right click on the column you want to duplicate and chose the function "duplicate" after that, if you want only keep the time, change the data type to time instead of date and time.

Hope it works!

Hi,

You may use the split column feature.  Use space as a delimiter.
