Via DaxStudio, I see a table called 'DateTableTemplate...' in my model. It must have been auto-generated. I load an explicit data table into my model: I don't use the auto-date table. Even though this 'DateTableTemplate...' table is small (about 4 % DB), it's the cause of several best practice rule violations as found in Tabular Editor. So, do I need it? If not, how can I get rid of it?

In your .pbix file you can disable auto date/time.
