I wonder someone can explain me how to use stored procedures (SPs) in SQL Server database to create a dataset using Power BI desktop. I use the same database to create a Power BI data model and want to use some of the stored procedures developed by my team earlier to create some tables.
Is it possible to copy and paste those SPs drectly to Power BI query editor?
= Sql.Database(svr_name, db_name, [Query="EXEC [schema].sp_name"])
if sp returns multiple recordsets, only the first one will be received by PQ.
Thanks to the great efforts by MS engineers to simplify syntax of DAX! Most beginners are SUCCESSFULLY MISLED to think that they could easily master DAX; but it turns out that the intricacy of the most frequently used RANKX() is still way beyond their comprehension! |
DAX is simple, but NOT EASY! |
