Year to date button

Hi all! I have create a button pis supposed to provide a year-to-date filter on all visulas on the page. Currently all my visuals have a relationship with a single date table. This date table contains dates that go into the future as well. How would it be possible to create a button that when pressed would filter the visuals from the 1st of January up until today?

Thank you for any help!

@Anonymous - Well, you could use a Complex Selector in your Page filter and a Bookmark I suppose. https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Quick-Measures-Gallery/The-Complex-Selector/td-p/1116633

Hi @Greg_Deckler , thank you very much for your reply. I am slightly unsure of how to set a page filter in a bookmark though, as when I do, it seems to affect all my other bookmarks on the page as well? How would it be possible to select certain dates on a page level filter and ONLY save those selections for a particular bookmark. Currently, when I set a page-level filter, those values propagate through to all the bookmarks.

@Anonymous Well, what I was thinking was that you add the measure to the page level filter but everything is selected (all) so it isn't filtering anything. Update all your bookmarks. Now, set the filter for this page level filter so that this measure is set to filter just for 1. Create your new bookmark.

@Greg_Deckler yep that is what I am trying to do. However, when I set my measure in the filter it ends up affecting the pages on all the bookmarks. Even the ones where I previously saved as "select all".

I have managed to get around it by creating a slicer and filtering that way and then making the slicer not visible in the Selection Pane. And then it doesn't influence my previous bookmarks.

Hi @Anonymous ,
