Hi all,
after long serach I came to conclusion that best would be to ask here. I need to calculate weighted median in my data set where I have list of customers with invoices, inv. values and the ageing.
I would need weighted median on the ageing.
value is ageing and weight is then the inv. value. One customer can have multiple invoices.
In below table is example, in excel if I calculated weighted median I will get value 28. But I am not sure how to do that in BI
customer | ageing | inv amount |
A | 2 | 484,150.00 |
A | 5 | 154,810.00 |
A | 10 | 150.00 |
A | 100 | 45,674.00 |
A | 9 | 999,000.00 |
A | 13 | 150.00 |
A | 28 | 565,200.00 |
B | 100 | 484,150.00 |
C | 350 | 999,000.00 |
Hi @Anonymous ,
From your description, I could not understand how 28 came out.
Could you please provide a specific formula for me to understand?
Best Regards,
Stephen Tao
