Visualize on map with non-WGS84 coordinates

Hi !

I'd like to visualize data on a map but the coordinates I have are not WGS84, I'm using another country-specific system(RGF93)

I would also like to use locations, with coordinates also in this local system.

Is it mandatory to convert all those coordinates to WGS84 ? Could someone confirm that default (or common) visuals in PBI are only compatible with WGS84 ?

If there's a solution, do you have a tutorial or sample code ?

Thanks for your help.

How many coordinates do you have?  This converter allows bulk conversion

Free online coordinates converter (tool-online.com)

How different are these from WGS anyway?  Coordinates on a map - pick GPS lat & long or coordinates in a projection system (epsg.io)

Hi lbendlin!

Thanks for the proposal but it won’t be possible for us to use manual conversion, even through big files. RGF93 coordinates are part of our business data, so we will have million of rows in a streaming process.

The online convertor might be possible through an API, depending on the cost and the SLA.

But native support of RGF93 coordinates, both for business data and to define locations, is part of the tool evaluation grid.
