Hi,
I have made a dashboard and visualisations with a dataset (xml data) and have now been given a new dataset (also xml data) in the same structure and format as the previous one.
Is there a quick way to get the dashboard to remain the same but to use the new dataset instead?
This will be something I will regulary do as new data comes in.
Thanks in advance for any help

Hi , @wp190
According to your description, you want to update the datasouce of the dataset in Power BI Service. Right?
First of all, if you have previously configured parameters for the dataset, you can modify them directly in the parameter settings of the dataset. For more information, you can refer to :
Edit parameter settings in the Power BI service - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
If you have not configured parameters before, then you need to click "Download this file" in Power BI Service, download your .pbix file, modify your data source in the pbix file, and then republish.
For more information, you can refer to :
Download a report from the Power BI service to Power BI Desktop - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
