Unable to import file and visuals in power bi desktop

Hi All,

I need help with weird power bi desktop functionality issue. I just installed power bi desktop in my system.

Power BI Desktop is not allowing me to import any files and visuals. while performing activity such as importing file and downloading visuals other window open as blank only and not popping up.

We cannot restore this error. You could check the Issues forum here:
https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Issues/idb-p/Issues. If it is not there, then you could post it.

Please check if the installation conditions are met and try to install the newest version.

Here you got. It is apply and discard banner. You can also see one blank window in the buttom of the image. I can't click on that image. Every time I have to close that window then only able to  close that yellow banner.

@Anonymous , I think you have applied some changes on Power Query, you can either apply them or discard them. Else you can open a new file and work with that.

Hi Mani, Thank you for your response. But it is not working that way also. I can't click on apply and discard unless and untill i close that blank window in buttom of the snap.

I have already done all the stuff. e.g reintall and install power bi. close and open new session.

But it is not working. I am not sure is this problem related to power bi desktop or some sytem issue.

Your screenshot is extremely small and I can't read what the yellow banner is showing.

Can you share a clear screenshot here please?
