Two columns in one axis?

Hi,

I want to show the filter of two columns in one axis.

It is not possible right?

This is my Data:

IDwaveQ_1Filter_1Filter_2Filter_2
111Brand_1Grp_1Grp_2
212Brand_1Grp_1Grp_2
315Brand_1Grp_1Grp_2
4110Brand_1Grp_1Grp_2
523Brand_1Grp_1Grp_2
620Brand_1 Grp_2
720Brand_1 Grp_2
1118Brand_2Grp_1Grp_2
213Brand_2Grp_1Grp_2
317Brand_2Grp_1Grp_2
4120Brand_2Grp_1Grp_2
521Brand_2Grp_1Grp_2
620Brand_2 Grp_2
720Brand_2 Grp_2

I want to show Q_1 as values inside of a line-visual.

wave is the axis.

The Filter_1 is at visual level.. so no problem.

The Filter_2 should be the legend... both columns.

But it is not possible to put two fields into the legend.

Do i always have to do it like this?

Screenshot_3.png

If so. Is it possible to do it with DAX? I know i could do this in the query editor, but Filter_2 is a result of a calculated column in the Model view.

thanks for your help 🙂

Hi @elaj

Create a new table

Table 2 =
UNION (
    SUMMARIZE (
        'Table',
        'Table'[ID],
        'Table'[wave],
        'Table'[Q_1],
        'Table'[Filter_1],
        'Table'[Filter_2]
    ),
    SELECTCOLUMNS (
        'Table',
        "ID", 'Table'[ID],
        "wave", 'Table'[wave],
        "Q_1", 'Table'[Q_1],
        "Filter_1", 'Table'[Filter_1],
        "Filter_2", 'Table'[Filter_2.1]
    )
)
