To show the top two departments having the highest number in each month

Dear Guru,

I need some help from you about question below.

Objective:

I would like the Power BI report to show the top two departments having the highest case count number in each month.

Power BI report to show like the one on the right:s

highest count in each month.PNG

table structure in excel:

TABLE - highest count in each month.PNG

I have a Dax object below but it gave me the report on the left (refer top figure) instead of the report on the right.

  • Count of CASES = countrows(values(IMEI[Case ID]))

Thank You.

Aiyosap

@aiyosap , Create a rank

Rank = rankx(filter(allseleceted(Table[Month Year], Table[Department]), [Month year] =max([Month Year])),[Count of CASES],,desc,dense)

and use visual level filter <= 2
