The option "Show Marker" is not showing up

In the "Line and Cluastered column chart" , the option "Show Marker" is not showing up. It should appear in "Shapes" section, in the Format.

Is there a way to enable that IS NOT by making the X axis of type categorical?

Based on my research, the option 'Show maker' is available when X-Axis - Type is set as 'Categorical'. It will not appear when you have continuous type X-Axis. You may refer to the following links.

@AlexGurovich - To the best of my knowledge, Show marker is only for a Categorical x-axis, not a Continuous x-axis.
