Text ends with a grey vertical bar, how to remove it?

what are the settings to remove that vertical grey bar on the extreme right side? I often encounter this, and have to redo the whole text again... is there some settings that cause this? where is the setting to remove it?

Hi @Anonymous ,

I would increase the height and/or width of the textbox. It is also possibly, that after the forward slash, there are invisible characters so I'd position my cursor right after the slash and press delete on my keyboard.
