Table not showing in report pane

cannot_load_model.gifHi community,

I have loaded a Oracle table with DirecQuery. It showing up in the model pane and if I click on Edit Queries i see data. But on the report pane, table is not showing on the fields section. When I load the table I got the following message. I don't know if it as something to do with the fact that it is not showing up in the report pane. Thanks

Hi @pbosse ,

Did there anything changes on your data source side? According to error message, it sounds more related to your credentials or permission. I'd like to suggest you to contact to your DBA(database admin) to confirm your permissions.

Hi Xiaoxin,

First, thank you for ansewring my question since i am new to Power Bi. I have read somewhere on Internet that DirectQuery for Oracle only works from Oracle 12 and Higher. Would that be why I am not seeing table in the report pane?

Thanks

Hi @pbosse ,

Sometime the last version of oracle client not compatible with new power bi desktop version. You can try to use old version oracle client to test.

According to your error message, I think it may related to your credentials or client of connector.
