Hey all!
I have a source excel file that has a dropdown menu allowing for multiple selections. When i pull this info into PowerBI it concatenates the values such that it recognizes the individual values. at a minimum, if there are multiple values i can replace with "multiple".
To further describe in data form:
I would like the rows with multiple values either to be included (in a report with a slicer) if you select BLDGA or any of the values in the row.
Building |
BLDGA |
BLDGB |
BLDGC |
BLDGA, BLDGB, BLDGC |
BLDGB, BLDGC |
This may muck up some of the total values, i realize, so as an alternative, if a row contains multiple values i would like to at least have these combined into one value, perhaps "Multiple BLDGs".
Any ideas for a newbie?
Hi, @jensan
Can you provide sample data for testing? Sensitive information can be removed in advance. What kind of expected results do you expect? You can also show it with pictures or Excel. I look forward to your response.
