Slicers - Dates Between

Hi - I am trying to use a slicer on multiple visuals with dates going back to 2021 but when I change the slicer to the "between" format, it only shows dates for 2022 through today. I can't seem to get it to change, and I have no other filters set on that date range. It works in other formats but I don't want to use another format (dropdown, list, etc.).

The dates are based off a calendar table, which does have some relationships with other tables that only have 2022 dates, but I would have thought the filter would show all dates?

@dhruvinushah thank you so much! Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be any of those issues. I don't have many dax expressions at all, I haven't edited interactions, and it's not synced with other slicers. All of my dates are set up on a many to one to the calendar table. What's odd is that if I use the date field from the table that has the data instead of the calendar table it does work.

Hi @ecarroll ,
The direction of the relationships would determine the values in your slicer field.
If the 'other' tables can filter the calendar table then obviously the values in your calendar table will be affected.

1. Look into DAX functions like ALL() or REMOVERFILTERS that in a measure context to remove any existing filters outside the measure.
2. Fix those relationships. Determine the direction of filtering between calendar and 'Other' tables. Have your calendar date table central hub for filtering other tables.

3. Look into 'Edit Interactions' between visuals to see if any existing selection from another visual...could be another slicer synced to the page... hidden filters... hidden slicers...or simple another visual filtering the values in your date slicer.

Without looking at your data model it's difficult to figure out why the between slicer could be behaving that way. Feel free to tag me (@) in your reply that includes more information and screenshot possibly to better understand this problem.

Hope this helps, tag me (@) if you need more help on it. Feel free to mark the answer as a solution if it helped you.
Thanks!
