Simple Waterfall Chart - format labels

Hello

I have a waterfall chart such as shown below.  This is using the Simple Waterfall Chart - StuartPQY_1-1711535924554.png

I have tried and failed, is there a way to format the label numbers.  I have tried DAX FORMAT for the measures but the simple waterall chart wont allow a measure with FORMAT in its code.

I would like to format the negatives with ( ) and also the first pillar with a thousand mark.  The Last pillar seems to apply for some reason.

Thank you for any help.

Stuart

Hi @StuartPQY ,

Instead of formatting the measure directly, consider creating a custom column in your data model that applies the desired formatting. This column can then be used for labels or tooltips in your visualization.

Formatted Value = IF([YourMeasure] < 0, "(" & FORMAT(ABS([YourMeasure]), "0,000") & ")", FORMAT([YourMeasure], "0,000"))

Best Regards,

Xianda Tang
