I have a dataset that looks as follows:
Transaction Date EMP_ID
1/31/2020 1
1/31/2020 2
2/29/2020 1
3/31/2020 1
So transaction date will have the most recent date which is the last day of the previous month. My data refreshes on the 4th of every month.
So for this month that is April 4th,2020 -> I have data upto 3/31/2020. Now I would like to filter my power bi backend to show me only 3/31/2020 data for now.... and similarly next month that should automatically filter to have only 4/30/2020 data...
How can i acheive this? Thank you!

Hi @Anonymous ,
If i understand you correctly, you might use Date Fiters feature in Query Editor.

The information you have provided is not making the problem clear to me. Can you please explain with an example.
Appreciate your Kudos.
Hey @amitchandak
As you can see from my table structure, I have multiple transaction dates (These dates have only the last of the month for each month, so say it has from 1/31/2020-3/31/2020)
The records would look as the one shown in my table structure. The mose recent date would be the last date of the previous month (We are in April now, so the last date available for Transaction Date column is data upto 3/31/2020. Next month which is May, I would have data upto 4/30/2020)
So transaction date column looks like:
Transaction Date Emp_ID
1/31/2020 1
1/31/2020 2
2/29/2020 1
3/31/2020 1
4/30/2020 1 *This would be present in May and so on*
However, once I load the data to Power BI, I would like transaction date to have only the most recent date records, so in this case I would like power bi to show me all records belonging only to 3/31/2020. *Next month it should automatically show me only those records for 4/30/2020*
Hence, I would like to know a way of filtering this date to show only 3/31/2020 records for this month in the back end. Next month, this would automatically filter just to have 4/30/2020 instead of having all the transaction date records...
