Q: How would you set a default date value in a column, when it’s based on a DirectQuery?
I’m aware that I can’t use Transformations in D/Q….
e.g. A D/Q table has NO value at all for a date…but I want to set a default date…
Make sense?
i.e. I'd like to default the empty values with a particular date...
Thoughts?
Thanks much,
Rich
I ended up asking the data source provider to adjust the query to send a default date for empty date value.
thank you
@rgouette I would recommend you to add a view at the source and then set the default value whatever you want instead of doing it in Power BI.
