Scheduled refresh in Power BI Desktop

Hi,

Is it possible to refresh my report automatically (scheduled) using Power BI Desktop without having any purchased licenc like Power BI service Pro or On-Premise Report Server?

I've read several solutions about this topic, and it is mentioned that somehow it can be done by using Sharepoint or OneDrive as the database of my source files.

If this is a working solution, can somebody explain and show me how it is done? Or is there any other way to do so?

Hi @R_Levi

Afaik, you can use Power automate to refresh your report but you would still need to open the report and click that refresh button inside the report.

Also, it doesn't make any sense to me that you want to use this inside the free version. I'm not sure if that will be covered in the free license or not. As it doesn't make sense to provide such a feature on the free version because you won't be able to share the report with any users.

If my response has successfully addressed your question or concern, I kindly request that you mark this post as resolved. Additionally, if you found my assistance helpful, a thumbs-up would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
