A Real Estate Appraiser using Excel can take two Excel Columns (ClosedDate) and (SoldPrice) select them all, hit scatter plot and add a trendline. Excel properly generates the X and Y axis when columns are in this order. The plot is wonderful, and the slope generated and the trendline inserted is easy-peasy.
I don't want summarized sold prices in PowerBI - it skews the regression. You cannot use a date as the X-Axis if the data is not summarized. How do I fix this?
Power BI DataSet
SoldPrice, DateSold
I drag DateSold to X-Axis and turn off summarize on SoldPrice. I get the error this can't work due to unsummarized data.
Hi @Maybrick1046 ,
With your description, you need to display the data in the correct scatter plot.
Please provide sample files and expected output or screenshots to further resolve the issue.
