Run Rate for the current year based on AVERAGE of last 3 months

Hi

I need help to calculate a forecasted run rate based on the following criteria:

1) Average of sales for the last 3 months

2) Forecasted for the next 12 months

I have a DateDim table, I have a sales table that is linked to it by date so grouping is not an issue.

I don't want a daily run rate. I need to calculate the run rate based on an AVERAGE of the last 3 months sales.

Can someone help me with the DAX for this? I googled and watched a few videos but non meet my requirement

sounds like you need to use summarize by month and then do an averagex of the summarized table.

Not sure that will get me the forecasted run rate.

I want to use the average of the actual last 3 months of data to calculate a run rate for the remaining months of the current year.

Column D is not in the table but might be able to retrieve it from the DateDim table.

Column E I am having trouble calculating.
