Replicating Looker Explores in Power BI

We're switching from Looker to Power BI, and looking for something that makes self-service as intuitive as Looker Explores

Is there a way of showing subsections of a dataset in Power BI to end-users in Service so that they're not confronted by the whole dataset?

We need to have a large, consolidated dataset to support various reports, but would like simpler subsections of the dataset for easier self-service

Hi @charliedata ,

I don't know looker, but if you want to have subsets of your database maybe you should look at Dataflows in Power BI, where you can define a specif query with specif tables, and even if you need to update all of the reports that are based on those dataflows will be updated at once so no need to reply steps to add more columns or remove them for example.
