Re: Tutorial for Power BI

Hi

I am also quite new in using Power BI and currently I am creating a dashboard. I need some help in creating a measure or whatever is the best thing to do to get a value in my Card.

The scenario is:

I need a data/value to reflect on my Card which will come from a table when my slicer is slected all.

The thing is, i dont know how the data will be pulled up from the table.

i.e

Filters are: A, B, C, D

data from the table i want the results to come from:

Sector    Plan

A            75%

B            72%

C            71%

D            73%

Total       74%

I can get the value from the table when i filter on A, B, C ,D but when the filters are all selected, I cannot get the Total Plan%

can you please help? Thank you 🙂 I'm trying to use if and lookupvalue in my measure but i cannot get it right

Hi @zyrenedayle ,

What is your desired result? Could you mean when you select A,B,C,D all, the card show the Total  74%? What is the logic?

Hi, Daniel

Yes, that is what I'm trying to achieve. For instance i have a specific region divided into 4 sectors.

each sector has a target %, but the the Region itself also has a target%.

So, if all of the sectors are selected, the card should pull up the target for the region.

I am not able to do that since I do not know how the card will get the 74% target if All are selected in the slicer
