I have a table with userprincipalnames of users allowed to see the report. Anyone not in the table is not allowed to see any data.
Is there a way to chedck for permission at RLS level WITHOUT having to create relationship for all the data in the data model.
I'd just like to check for TRUE or FALSE and restrict everything in case of FALSE.
The thing is, the permissions are very dynamic, and it's difficult to have a security group level restriction, so I'd like to have it at RLS level.

Setting up a security group in active directory that contains all employees then assign that security group to the role is a good way. When you have personnel changes, you only need to modify the list in the security group.

I already have a security group Employees, and my report is shared with employees. But I want only specific exmployees (based on data) to really be able to see the data.
I did setup a crossjoin with trusted people and projects, so basically I hat do model it in, which makes the model a bit more complicated. But I was wondering if where was a more elegant solution witout relationships. Something like "if person not in table, then break2..
